No, I haven’t reached monetization status yet. No, I haven’t gone viral… yet. However, I noticed the ground is finally shifting.
Having analyzed my channel data since I published the Florida Panhandle video in mid-August, now my channel averages 1,000 views per week.
As for watch time hours per week, it fluctuates between 70 to 100, depending on how many new videos I upload consistently, and how each one motivates people to check my channel. This one is harder to predict.
Although I still need a few hundred more subscribers, and a few thousand hours of watch time additionally to profit from ads, I’m happy to say the following: I’m getting noticed, and that is absolutely satisfying.
Do I wish to continue making videos related to travel, Puerto Rico, storytelling, and any adventure I can put together? Yes! The bigger question is: do you want me to keep making them?
If so, you can help significantly with a simple donation, or a monthly/annual subscription.
I set up a Support My Work page on this website so you can choose however you would like to contribute. Every little bit helps, and a tiny gift can go a long way.
Stay tuned for more on my next trip, which takes places in a notoriously haunted city.
